Fact: the economy is bad. Fact: times are tough. Fact: we still like to shop because it feels good. I do have to admit I am awed by the sites that are still showing bags, shoes and dresses for upward of 350.00. It just does not seem right to be spending like before when $1000.00 was $100.00. If one site sends one email a day to announce their latest sale there are others that send 3 a day to proclaim what you must have. While others are offering discounts on lines that have NEVER been on sale.  I know shoppers who are trading in their Louboutin's for Steve Maddens. Desperate times call for desperate measures. All of this because times are difficult. ShopBarbara has taken an altogether different approach. Clearly we want to maintain our level of style while still offering a great value.
