At the age of 7, she began making near perfect replicas of the gowns in her mother's couture, bridal salon. Joy's mother, who was a judge on the panel for the Miss Korea Pageants throughout the 80's and 90's, saw the talent in Joy and later sent her abroad to study fashion design. Joy attended AIU with a full scholarship and in 1998 received her bachelor's degree in fashion design.

Since graduating, she has designed for many renowned L.A. labels and in 2003, created her own line "VOOM by Joy Han", a vintage inspired edgy yet feminine sportswear line for the fashion forward woman. Since re-launching VOOM, Joy has dressed the likes of many celebrities in the music and entertainment industry including: Paris Hilton, Nicky Hilton, Eve, Shannon Elizabeth, Ghuliana Di Pandi, Avril Lavigne, Jennifer Love Hewitt and added 2 more lines, VOOM Premium Denim, & Vintage VOOM. Joy states, "...as a designer I feel the responsibility to create styles that'll make a woman feel young, beautiful, and confident without being a trend that you can wear for only one season. I want to create new classics that look trendy without being the "IT" trend, so they can wear it anytime, any season, year after year."

Heidi Montag really likes Voom dresses. Here she is in the Voom Op Art Long Halter Dress.

Natascha McElhone spotted in
Hale Bob recently promoting her
TV mini series "The Company."

According to InStyle Magazine this month, Jessica Biel wanted to know how to wear a "big print with out looking busy?" InStyles answer: "Prints are busy. And since you already have everyone's attention, keep the rest of the look easy and natural." Proving a red dress can have pop that anyone can wear and manage to look sexy and make a statement.

Natascha McElhone seems to have taken InStyles advice by pairing the brightly colored Hale Bob Long Print Dress with some simple accessories and shoes. The vertical print elongates your body frame. Spaghetti straps that a can adjust will sit just right on your shoulders. Wear this print that has natural hues and bold color and feel confident and seductive.
